At MW Tuition, our teachers are carefully selected and their qualifications & teaching/tutoring experiences have been verified.

Students also feel more comfortable going to the tutor’s home instead of having tuition in a classroom-like environment. Our new Ang Mo Kio centre has been decorated to make the students feel at home! The homely environment allows students to feel more comfortable and they can focus on the lesson itself. In local schools with a class of 30 – 40 students, teachers are usually busy with discipline and administrative duties.

Curriculum time in school is also limited and teachers are usually not able to cater to the individual needs of all students. As such, parents have turned to tuition as a source of help for their children.

Tuition centres with large groups of students function similar to schools. Teachers deliver the lesson in front of the classes and students are asked to do work. Students seldom get adequate individual attention or customized programs to tailor to their different learning needs.

With small group tuition at MW Tuition, tutors will be able to identify weak areas of each student and work with students and parents for improvement. With lesser students in each class, tutors will be able to give more individual attention to each of the student and also customize the lesson to suit the students’ learning needs.

The interaction and sharing of ideas in a small group setting also allows students to learn from each other. With some peer pressure (we all know how competitive our students can be) from other students in a small group class; most students will become self-motivated to work harder.
